Kanon	Ack! I can't see him anywhere!
Seida	Looks like he's gotten away. He's quick on his feet.
Monzein	But it was foolish of him to flee into the buildings! We've practically cornered him. We'll chase him down!
Seida	Do you really think it'll go that smoothly? He's not stupid. He may have even set some kind of trap.
Almira	But he's looking for the Sacred Stone, right? What if it's in the ruins?
Seida	It's not. I'm sure of it.
Kanon	Huh?
Seida	Also, as far as I can see, the only exit is back the way we came. It'll most effective to wait here and ambush him when he returns.
Monzein	But what if there are other exits?
Seida	Please... I don't want to lose anyone else. Let's not do anything reckless.
Monzein	Bu-but...
Kanon	Hey, Seida, there's something I want to ask you. How can you be so certain that the Sacred Stone isn't in the ruins?
Seida	Um...
Kanon	Not just that. You were sure that it wasn't in Gluttony either. This is just a guess...but to you know where the Sacred Stone is, Seida? Where it's truly located.
Seida	... ... At this point, it'll be more inefficient to hide the truth. Fine. I'll share with you everything that I know...

Seida	It's finally quiet now.
Kanon	Seida, tell us what it is that you know.
Seida	...All right. The truth is that we the people of Alize have protected the Sacred Stone over many generations. We were bestowed with that fate... ...on the request of Gluttony's government.
Monzein	What?!
Kanon	Didn't you just say that the Alize people and Gluttony have long been at odds with each other?
Seida	Yes, I did. It's true that have a history of adversity towards each other...but, beneath the surface, we reached a compromise long ago.
Monzein	Wait, are you serious? Why?!
Seida	To protect the Sacred Stone, of course. Gluttony's leaders are antagonistic, but they're not idiots. At first, they too attempted to wield the power of the Sacred Stone, but as they continued their research, they realized... Under no circumstances were they to utilize this tremendous power as a weapon, even against their own enemies. However, if the enemy were to become aware of this, they may send their forces to steal the Sacred Stone at any time. That's when they thought up... ...the safest place in all the world to hide the Sacred Stone.
Kanon	What?!
Seida	At first, the leaders of Gluttony came up with the idea of the Alize people protecting it. I mean, nobody would actually believe that they'd hide it amongst their former enemies, would they? But as years passed, eventually this information began to leak out. That's when they decided to come up with the next hiding place. Thus, they found the safest place in this entire continent...no, in the entire world...to hide the Sacred Stone.
Monzein	Wh-where...?!
Seida	Inside the Holy Guard or, more precisely, me.
Kanon	What?!
Monzein	Since when? Since when have you been keeping it hidden?!
Seida	Of course, from the time I joined.
Monzein	I can't believe it. How could they place a source of power that could potentially destroy the continent in the hands of someone who was still just a girl...? Seida...I can't even begin to imagine the kind of resolve you must have had in your everyday life.
Seida	Protecting the Sacred Stone was my tribe's duty as well as our pride. However, our settlement was constantly attacked by those in pursuit of the Stone. My father was killed and the chief, my grandfather, was placed in harm's way countless times. My grandfather was painfully aware that we couldn't protect the Sacred Stone in our tribe any longer. He placed the Stone in my hands and sent me to the safest place in the continent—the Holy Guard.
Kanon	So that's why you joined the Holy Guard. In the Holy Guard, it doesn't matter where your origins are and they don't ask about your past.
Monzein	Also...the Holy Guard is the most powerful knight's order in the entire continent. There is truly no safer place.
Seida	So that's that. There's no need to worry. When Waginau figures out that the Sacred Sone isn't inside the ruins. We can take him down together then.
Monzein	... ...
Kanon	All right. Just like you said, Seida, I think that's the best option.
Monzein	... ... Ah, anyway, Seida...I'll give this back to you.
Seida	My...2nd Regiment...coat of arms...
Monzein	Well...how can I put it...I completely grasp the resolve you have towards your mission! But, if that were the case, how come you didn't tell me sooner?! If you had told me earlier, I wouldn't have said what I said.
Kanon	Seriously. Why don't you try being a little more humble? How about an 'I was wrong. I am sorry'?
Monzein	I was wrong...and I...I apologize for my actions.
Seida	... ... Seriously...stop apologizing. It's inefficient. But...th-thank you.
Monzein	Huh...?! N-no problem.
Kanon	Heheh. You two finally made up!
Almira	All right! Now all that's left is for us to find that Waginau and beat him up!
Kagura	...
Almira	Hm? No? It's not him?
Kanon	Kagura?! What's the matter, Kagura?! You're covered in wounds. What happened?!
Kagura	Y-you're late...id-idiot.
Kanon	Kagura!!!
